Our Mission

We are a diverse, egalitarian, and inclusive community of Jews and interfaith families.  We joyfully embrace Judaism as a way of life through prayer, music, social action, celebrating Jewish holidays, lifelong learning, and life cycle events.  Through these activities, we seek to promote spiritual growth, moral values, and the social welfare of our community.

Presidents Letter:

Winter has really shown its true face quickly.  Mother nature fooled us giving beautiful weather then smacked us into reality.  If you can't drive in this type of weather and would like to come to Friday night services call Megan in the office and we will try to arrange a ride for you.  At least four days should be given for us to contact someone who may be available.  Not only has our own choir been doing a wonderful job at Friday night services, but the professional choir has also been a joy to listen to along with Pam Carroll our music director.

We had our first town hall meeting and our next town hall meeting to review the by-laws is scheduled at Temple for Sunday, February 11 at 9 am.  This will be the last meeting until the final vote at Temple on Sunday, March 18 at 9 am.

The last time our by-laws were updated was 2008.  This latest revision is being updated to reflect our shrinking congregation and clarify old by-laws.  I encourage all to attend and express their opinions before the vote.

Gerald B. Feifer
