Temple B'nai B'rith offers a welcoming religious school program for children being raised as Reform Jews in pre-kindergarten though high-school. At our school, we nurture a strong and positive Jewish identity with an exciting and enjoyable educational program on Sunday mornings and Thursday afternoons.
Our youngest students use the Torah Alive curriculum; students in grades 2-7 use the Union of Reform Judaism's Chai Curriculum where learning is focused on the Torah, Avodah (work) and G'milutChasadim (deeds of loving kindness) .
Things we have fun doing:
Each class conducts a Friday Night Service over the course of the year,
Mitzvahs for the community
Make & Take for Hannukah
Having the Prophets pay a visit
Tu’ B’ Shevat Seders
Working on the school newspaper: The Temple Times
Singing with the Cantor
Field Trips
Using the Temple kitchen to make holiday treats
Research using the library computers
And More....
